I visited my favorite little street in Venice Beach again. Shocker! Abbot Kinney Blvd is just the best place to go when family or friends are visiting LA. All of the little shops and restaurants really embody what I love most about this town. When Angelika told me she would be visiting from Virginia, I was so excited to shoot together! She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and I loved that Angelika could spend her very first day in LA with me! Check out her blog for more photos from her trip. This girl scheduled shoots every single day she was in town, and I have loved looking through them all! If you live on the East Coast, I could not recommend a more smiley, positive, and talented photographer! I'm so glad she chose to spend her very first day in LA with me exploring Abbot Kinney. As I've said before, it is one of my all-time favorite places in LA!

Another place I've been loving in LA? The beach! I've been taking advantage of this weather as it's been getting warmer. I actually realized that I've been to the beach every weekend for the past month! Even if it's just for an hour or two, laying out on the warm sand or hopping in the waves is my favorite way to unwind. I'm a college student on a budget, so these free things like going to the beach or exploring Abbot Kinney are my favorite. I'm thinking about making an LA city guide of all my favorite free things to do. Is that something you'd be interesting in reading? Happy Sunday!

Graduation Party Snap Shots

The cutest candy bar. The candy and hanging photos doubled as decorations and party favors.

The dessert table. Homemade chocolate cupcakes and lemon cake with a pretty peony on top! 

So happy that my favorite little Junior Cheerleader came to the party! 

Speech time. Some of the most special moments of the day were when loved ones shared memories throughout the years and dreams and prayers for my future. Cue the tears!

What a perfect graduation celebration. Last Saturday, my family threw the most thoughtful, creative, beautiful, and fun party I could have ever dreamed of. And the best part? It was all a surprise until the day of the party! Since both my high school and university colors are the same, most of my house/backyard was turned blue and gold. And I loved it! With my wonderful mother in charge, each of my family members handled a different aspect of the party. From the photo map to the cake to the festive flowers- they did it all! Their love and thoughtfulness came through each detail, and the day was full of so many smiles, laughs, and even a few (happy) tears! It meant the world to me to be surrounded by so many people I love to celebrate this milestone. 

I’ve never seen centerpieces with so much school spirit! 

All of the places I’ve been. The world map was such a special touch tho the party, and I have a feeling it might be coming with me to college! 

So much love for my mama's beautiful spirit and the sweet words she said to me this day.

TAudrey Jewelry Favorites

Last week, Kate of A Lonestar State of Southern announced her design collaboration (check it out, so gorgeous!) with TAdrey Jewelry by hosting an incredible giveaway; a $300 TAdrey gift card to be exact! Well, getting an email the following Monday saying I had won made my day just about 8782786 billion times better! Obviously, the first items I added to my cart were Kate's gorgeous earrings. Then, I started to explore the site and all of the different personalization options, and before I knew it my cart was full! I even was able to add a special saying and my hometown's coordinates to the bangles I picked out. I know that as I move on to college and beyond, I'll treasure this jewelry and the meaning behind it.
