Something I don't think I've shared here on the blog is that I sing on my church's worship team. Every Friday and Sunday morning for the past four years has been filled with sharing God's Word through music. For me, there is no better reminder of His peace, faithfulness, and joy. As I prepare for the big move to UCLA (let the one week countdown begin!), I am so excited to find a new church and get involved with worship team. Like most incoming college freshmen, I have definitely dealt with my share of anxious and nervous feelings. These songs and Joshua 1:9 have been such an encouragement for me! "Have I not commended you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
